We visited Shenzhen for the ITCSZ Innovation Competition and explored how synthetic data can accelerate AI development with leading Chinese tech companies.
We were invited by the Shenzhen Innovation & Entrepreneurship International Competition (ITCSZ) to join their event in one of the world's most dynamic tech hubs. During our visit, we met local partners and discussed how synthetic data can accelerate AI training for computer vision applications across multiple industries.

Shenzhen's innovation ecosystem moves fast. The companies we spoke with are already deploying computer vision at scale and actively looking for ways to overcome data bottlenecks. Synthetic data fits naturally into that conversation - it addresses the cost, privacy, and speed constraints that slow down traditional data collection.
The interest wasn't just theoretical. Teams shared specific use cases where labeled data is the limiting factor: manufacturing inspection, autonomous systems, and robotics. These are areas where synthetic data pipelines can cut weeks off development cycles.
We're continuing the conversations that started in Shenzhen and exploring practical next steps. More updates to come as things develop.
Thank you to ITCSZ for the invitation!
