A successful Web Summit Lisbon showcased Synthgen's unique position in synthetic data, with meaningful conversations about market opportunities, strategic partnerships, and the future of AI training infrastructure.
Thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth at Web Summit Lisbon 2025 for insightful discussions around synthetic data, automated labeling, and the evolving infrastructure behind AI training. It was an inspiring week surrounded by founders, investors, and technologists from across the global development community - all exploring how the next generation of AI systems will be built.
The conversations we had reaffirmed what the industry is steadily realizing: The current data and internet is finite and synthetic data is shifting from a research concept to a practical solution. Teams across computer vision, robotics, semiconductors and healthcare are seeking ways to overcome limited or biased datasets and accelerate model development. At the event, we saw growing recognition that scalable, privacy-safe, and cost-efficient data generation pipelines are essential for the next wave of AI innovation.
Based in Eindhoven's innovation ecosystem and supported by initiatives like SPARC Innovation and Fontys UAS, Synthgen continues to bridge academic research and applied AI development. Our collaborations and MIT-R&D support (2025–2027) highlight how Europe's AI ecosystem is fostering practical advances in synthetic and labeled data pipelines.
If you didn't get the chance to meet us during Web Summit, we're always open to connect and exchange ideas about where AI data infrastructure is headed. The discussions in Lisbon made one thing clear - the shift toward synthetic data and automated labeling is underway, and collaboration will shape how far and how fast it goes.
